Above is Leilani, Mum and Dad having a picnic lunch in Coolgardie. Not much to see there but nice spot to stop for a bite to eat. Then off to the super pit in Kalgoorlie (known to the locals as Kal), a must see is the explosion at 1300hours every day, awesome. See below.

Below Left; Mum and Dad in the Bucket, used in the pit.
Kal is population of about 30,000 people, with alot of brothels and skimpy bars (these are pubs with women wearing bikini's) not sure why this is so big in Kal but there you go. Kal is also the first time that we saw a ultra sound scan (pic) of our then 12 week old unborn child. One of the happiest days of my life! I have had a few this year as i recently got married also. So if you peruse this video below you will see my (our) parents reaction on the news to the fact they are going to have a grandchild. Leilani made a poster that read "Hello Opa and Oma" then below a picture of the Baby (scan) and underneath this said "see you in January". Watch the surprise :-D.
Anyway moving on, to Norseman we went. You have already seen some photos so I will only add three more.. here they are!
Centre; Mum and Dad on Beacon Hill
Left; The Town clock
Right; the famous Norseman roundabout.. camels and all!
On to Esperance, I can only say one thing, if you go to Esperance you MUST stay at Island View Apartments. The service is awesome, the beds sooooo comfortable and the prices reasonable, plus they loan from the office free DVD's if you feel like chillin and its a 3 minute walk to the jetty to visit "Sammy" the sea lion. As you've already seen some photos I will only add a few more...spots we found later!
From Left; Leilani, Augustina (Mum), Robert (dad) and myself on the jetty in Esperance, 1st August 2009. Below; Obsevation beach Esperance. Below Left; Cape Le Grand national park, beaches, rock formations, dolphins to see and sometimes kangaroos lying on the beach...yes its true!
Now, I will continue to update my blog as we excitedly move on to our next adventure in Taree, NSW Australia where my next position has started.
