Norseman, the big "N"

Us on beacon hill Noresman

Ok, so, we've been in Norseman, the big "N" for nearly three months. We fly from Auckland to Perth and have 3 days holiday looking around Perth. We spent the time looking around the CBD, and biking (hire bikes) around the sea front to cafes and onto Kings park. We love this time in Perth and really enjoy the City.
Our time is short though so we fly to Kalgoorlie, the biggest town for miles for us. We soon learn its a 2 and 1/2 hour drive to the big "N", population 800 people, where we live for the next 3 months.

On arrival its a nice little town with 3 pubs some hotels (mainly for people travelling through the Nullabor down the Eyre highway to stay at), a library council, post shop and dvd shop small supermarket (iga) plus a hardware shop and few cafes etc. Jose a spanish fella picked us up and now drops us at the accomodation by the Hospital where we stay and I work.
The pace here is somewhat different than Auckland and the motto soon become, "rush slowly" with all that we do. The hospital is busy though and helps me keep sane at times when there is nothing goin on.

The community as a whole is filled with alot of nice people. The Aboriginal people tend to keep to them selves.
We take a small holiday to Esperance (200 kms down a straight rd) on the coast. Its a beautiful little town of about 16,000 people.
